Lough Neagh Artisans Market

Lough Neagh Artisan Market

Artisan Market

The Lough Neagh Artisans market, located at the Lock Keeper’s cottage in Toome, is a vibrant showcase of local culture and talent. Open on select Sundays, visitors can explore an array of artisan crafts, arts, and food that reflect the region’s unique heritage. From handmade crafts to intricate artwork, each stall offers something special. Food enthusiasts will be tempted by the delightful selection of artisanal food products and flavorful street food, each providing a culinary journey through local traditions and tastes. Boat trips on the River Bann or Lough Neagh (weather depending) offer a chance to take in the scenery, while live entertainment adds to the festive ambiance. Set at the point where Lough Neagh meets the River Bann, the market not only provides an enriching experience but also presents captivating views of the landscape.  The Lock Keepers Cottage will be open as usual selling hot drinks, a selection of homebakes, soup and sandwiches.

The next Market will take place on Sunday 28th April 2024, 12pm – 4pm

Visitors are advised to bring cash, as the connectivity for card payments is not reliable.  Parking is available at Toome House and in the car park at the chapel.  Public toilets are available on the main street.

From setting up to taking down, marshalling the event, and supporting our traders through purchases, every helping hand contributes to the market’s success.

We’re always looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to contribute their time and skills to help our market flourish. Whether you can offer a few hours for setup, assist with customer queries, or help ensure the smooth operation of the market, your support is invaluable to us.
